So what is a content gateway and how does it make you money?

A content gateway is a frame over your page that requires action by the user to view the page and interact with it. In example, if you have a CPALead gateway over a video site, the user would have to fill out a survey before they are able to play the video. Whenever the survey is completed, you are granted a commission from the affiliate network, usually around a dollar depending on what the user’s action is.  If you have content that people are looking for, a gateway will convert your visitors.  Most surveys take less than 5 minutes, and are of little hassle to your site’s visitors.

Gateways are also typically highly customizable.  Your gateway can unlock your entire site, or just one section.  It can also blend into the site’s overall theme. Webmasters have been making money easily with gateways on their sites with little to no investment.  All you really need to do is post some content on a blog, paste in a small piece of code and post a few links.  Conversions should take care of themselves.
